Blogging has gone by the by for a few days as one of my dearest friends passed away last week .....

Ruined guttering ....
Moral of the story? Overweight cats should NOT climb up trees, get onto roofs and then rely on old guttering to help them get back down...
I just love this time of year in our garden. We're not sure how old our peach tree is but it's covered in lichen and moss and still each year the blossom breaks through. As you can see, the moss has also managed to cover our bird feeder!
We got the tree pruned professionally a couple of years ago and the show of blossom since then has been amazing. Not to mention the crop. And they're that lovely variety with red rather than yellow flesh ...
